Orders come in through a step-by-step form made for a tablet, or make themselves: a weekly order is set up in a tap and turns into real orders week after week. Each customer orders from its own menu, at its special prices where it has them.

The kitchen works from its own screens, and every order ends as an invoice the customer can pay by card.

• A production screen, and a kitchen board for a TV that shows what to make and nothing about money
• Deliveries by day
• PDF invoices by email, with a pay link to Stripe Checkout
• Customer balances, statements and reports, with a CSV export

Every login has a role. A manager starts with the owner's powers, and the owner can switch each of them off for all managers at once; only the owner can change those settings or touch the owner's login. The database enforces it, not only the screens. The kitchen's shared login sees the kitchen's screens and nothing with a price on it.

Staff can take a percentage off an order's items, with a reason, up to a limit the owner sets, and the amount shows on every copy of the invoice.

Every change since go-live is a live change. Nightly database backups were running before launch, and a restore into a test copy was proven then too.
